Annual Events & Festivals in St. Louis
Everything From Beer to Mardi Gras to Fine Art
Start planning your trip today – St. Louis features year-round, beloved annual events all throughout the city, and you’re invited to be a part the action.
When you think Mardi Gras, you probably don’t think “eastern Missouri,” but that will surely change after you experience the indulgent holiday St. Louis-style.
The celebration is roughly a month long, running from early January to early February, featuring a long-list of citywide events and celebrations.
Join the fun this year, as the Soulard Park neighborhood and its host of bars and restaurants offer special events and goodies, the festive parade krewes take to the streets, all while visitors enjoy a wine tasting, Cajun cook-off, and so much more.
Just a few months later, beer-lovers and brewers come together at beautiful Forest Park for the St. Louis Brewers Heritage Guild Festival. This is an unforgettable two-day festival, featuring over 100 locally crafted beers, live music, and delicious pub food. This event is for those 21 and older, so plan your visit accordingly.
The following month, around the Fourth of July also in Forest Park, Fair Saint Louis is one of the city’s biggest summer celebrations. Known as “America’s Biggest Birthday Park,” Fair St. Louis features everything from a dazzling fireworks show, and live music, to a massive zipline, kids’ activities, and countless exhibits and vendors.
Then, in September, the Saint Louis Art Fair brings several days of visual and performing arts to the central business district in nearby Clayton. If you’re a fan of festivities or the fine arts, you’ll surely enjoy exploring the St. Louis suburb, checking out the host of vendor booths and displays on hand during this award-winning festival.
