Explore Acadia National Park

Located on Mount Desert Island near Bar Harbor, this national park boasts beautiful ocean, forest, and mountain views. You can hike up to the highest point on the Atlantic coast at Cadillac Mountain here and enjoy activities including biking, horseback riding, hiking, and boat cruises.

This park is the oldest national park on the Mississippi River and is also known as ‘First Eastern National Park’. It encompasses nearly 50,000 acres of parkland and is the perfect destination to go on a driving tour, explore nature trails, and visit museums and nature centers. Head here for a winter hike, leaf peeping tours, and fun in the water. Grab your hiking boots to hit the trails—there are more than 125 miles of hiking trails in Acadia National Park.

One of the best ways to experience the park is by taking a ranger-led walk through some of the park’s most popular trails. A narrated boat cruise will give you a chance to see the park’s scenic coastline and learn more about the history of this legendary attraction.
