CelticFest Mississippi

Held in September, CelticFest Mississippi is an annual event located on the grounds of the Mississippi Agricultural & Forestry Museum, otherwise known as the "Ag Museum.” Get cozy and listen to traditional Irish tales or get even more comfortable at one of two Best Western hotels in the area. This three-day event features a multitude of Celtic artisans, and over 300 performers across six stages. Take advantage of the many workshops for dance, storytelling and heritage, or shop your way through the clothing, crafts, and Celtic keepsakes at the festival markets.

Participate in the public dances, try music and singing lessons, check out the Kindred Spirits Whisky Tasting, or stroll through the Celtic exhibits. Let the laddies loose in the Children's Area, and head over to the Céilí Mór Dance on Saturday night for dancing and refreshments.

Pine Hill Festival

Held each year in early spring, the Pine Hill Festival is a Wiggins and Stone County staple of family-fun. The festival aims to honor the county’s birthday, usually taking place in mid March near Blaylock Park.

The festivities include everything from a 5K, 10K, and fun run, to arts and crafts vendors, great food, a classic car show, and live music. Exact dates are subject to change, be sure to plan your visit today

Jackson Convention Complex

Spread across over 330,000 square feet, the Jackson Convention Complex is a world-class event center located in downtown Jackson. The complex hosts some of central Mississippi’s biggest concerts, expos, seminars, and other events.

The facility offers state-of-the-art exhibitor services, like audio/visual, food and beverage, planning serves, and more. Complex visitors will also be treated to convenient access to the host of attractions and things to do in downtown Jackson.

Tupelo Elvis Festival

Tupelo’s very own musical legend Elvis Presley is honored at the Tupelo Elvis Festival, a celebration of the great King of Rock N Roll and his revolutionary catalogue of hits. With a legacy of twenty-plus years and a packed annual program of national, regional, and local musicians, this is the perfect way to pay homage this legend. Highway 61 Blues Festival

Set in the Mississippi town of Leland, the Highway 61 Blues Festival is an annual celebration of the blues. One of the most popular summer music festivals, the celebration takes place in Downtown Leland, with all benefits going toward the Highway 61 Blues Museum. Admission to The Highway 61 Blues Festival is free and has featured the top local blues musicians for more than 10 years.

Mississippi Delta Blues and Heritage Festival

More music is on the agenda at the Mississippi Delta Blues and Heritage Festival, one of the biggest and most reputable blues festivals in the entire USA. Year over year, this event has attracted the Who’s Who of the blues world, including B.B. King, Muddy Waters, Robert Cray, Sam Chatmon, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. What started out on the back of a flatbed truck to a crowd of less that 100 people is now the oldest and largest blues festival in the South, with over 20,000 visitors and performances on three festival stages.

Biloxi Seafood Festival

Hosted each year in September, the Biloxi Seafood Festival is a two-day event celebrating Biloxi and the Mississippi Gulf Coast's seafood heritage. For more than 30 years, festival goers have enjoyed the awesome collection of great food, entertainment, arts and crafts, and more. Don’t miss the Gumbo Championship held on the second day.

Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest

Fun for the entire family, The Championship Hot Air Balloon Fest is held each summer with events in Ridgeland and Canton. The annual Balloon Glow is held and NorthPark Mall with live music performance and activities for the kids. In Canton, you can claim your stake and watch as the balloons race across the sky.

The Riverfest Music & Arts Festival

The Riverfest Music & Arts Festival is two days of regional music, blocks of handmade arts and crafts along the Mississippi River, music, and food in beautiful Vicksburg, Mississippi. Plan to be in the downtown area in April for this fun event where kids can enjoy street performers, games, and many other activities. GospelFest is also a big hit at RiverFest, as the live bands on stage each evening from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
